Travel Fees

Cougars Youth Club's goal is to be able to make Travel soccer available to all and keeping costs low to families. Our goal at CYC is to strive to provide all athletes with high quality training and a positive experience in higher level competition.

 

Annual Fee - $500 per player

 

Fee Includes: Coaching Compensation, League Fees, VYSA/Insurance Fees, Referee Fees, Fairfax County Use Fees, Field Maintenance, Field Equipment, Club Administrative Fees, Background Checks, and Uniform. The League Fees include two seasons (Fall/Spring) of at least 8 games (4 Home & 4 Away), 2 training sessions of 1.5 hrs each per week.  Uniform includes 2 CYC Game Jerseys, 1 CYC Game Shorts, 1 CYC Game Socks and 1 CYC Training Jersey.

 

Fee Does Not Include: Tournaments, Winter Training, or Indoor League. Additional uniform items such as club jacket, club pants, back pack are all sold separately.

 

Tournament Fees - Teams participating in tournaments are responsible for the entry fee and any additional costs

associated with participation.  Coaches are required to receive CYC consent prior to entering their team for a tournament.  Coaches are responsible for entry process into tournaments (fee collection/payment and paper work) and communication with the players/families on the team.

 

Indoor Leagues - It is recommended that all teams play in at least 1 Travel Indoor soccer league each winter.  Coaches are responsible for entry process for Indoor League participation (fee collection/payment & paper work) and communication with the players/families on the team. Participating in indoor soccer during the Winter allows players and teams to continue the  development of what skills and tactics they worked on during the outdoor season.  Please visit the Fairfax Sportsplex website for more details on indoor soccer for Travel teams.
